In January 2012, I had met Chaplain Jack Richards through my participation in the Rappahannock Regional Jail bible study ministry. Jack invited me to attend a Saturday morning group of the Christian Brothers Transition Program (CBTP). I did attend the Saturday group and I was quite gratified by the joy I felt from the open expression of faith in Jesus by many attendees.
Several months later, my wife Bobbie began attending the Christian Women's Transition Program (CSTP) group. Bobbie realized that God gives us blessings as well as problems. Blessings to be shared and problems to understand the hurts of others by listening and sharing. To Bobbie, this is discipleship. Our participation has been a blessing to us.
